Executive Order No. 14306 and Its Impacts on Software Supply Chain Management (W01b)
On June 6, 2025, the Trump Administration issued Executive Order No. 14306, setting forth the new administration’s cybersecurity priorities. The Executive Order amends several provisions of previous administrations’ executive orders, including most notably by removing secure software development attestation requirements and directing updates from NIST relating to third-party software supply chain security. This talk will take a deep dive on what the EO requires and examine its potential impacts to government contractors’ software supply chain management going forward.
