Former Senior Director, Security Evaluations (Oracle) and Industry Advisor Joshua Brickman is a security certification and compliance leader with 20+ years of experience in Common Criteria, FIPS 140, FedRAMP, and global cybersecurity regulations, including the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). He has led large-scale certification programs and advised organizations on meeting complex U.S. and international compliance requirements.

A recognized industry contributor, Joshua founded and chairs  the Common Criteria in the Cloud Technical Community. The CC in the Cloud Guide, published in 2025,  was the output of that collaborative effort. Over the past 20 years, Joshua  has participated in multiple international technical communities shaping security certifications and technical standards. A frequent conference speaker and panelist, he focuses on the intersection of security, compliance, and practical implementation. He currently advises organizations on certification strategy, regulatory alignment, and evolving cybersecurity requirements.
