Biography
Chris has been involved in the IT security field since 1994 and is a co-author of four books on cybersecurity, including “Enterprise Cybersecurity: How to Build a Successful Cyberdefense Program Against Advanced Threats.” He focuses on cyber architectures, defense against advanced threats, and regulatory compliance. He has advised government and commercial clients in the financial, industrial, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors, and has presented on these topics at RSA, (ISC)2, ISSA, B-Sides, HIMSS, MILCOM, and other forums. He holds a patent for e-commerce technology, along with degrees in computer science and information assurance from Princeton and George Washington Universities, and served five years as a ranger-qualified airborne communications officer with the US Army.
